Homecoming Parade

Who doesn’t love a parade?

Kellie Harper, coach of the women’s basketball team, is serious about her job as grand marshal of the 2009 NC State Homecoming Parade. “It’s a time when everybody is excited about their university and what is going on. To rally around the football team—I love it. I love Homecoming parades; I’ve always thought they are great. And, I’m very honored to be leading the way out.”

Starting at 6 p.m. Coach Harper will lead the parade on Hillsborough Street from Dan Allen Drive to the Belltower. Parade emcees will be Lynda Loveland, co-host of “Bill & Lynda in the Morning” on MIX 101.5 WRAL-FM, and Patrick Kinas, the voice of Wolfpack women’s basketball.
