Class of 1959: Bob Mattocks

The Class of 1959 celebrated its Golden Anniversary on May 1 and 2. Three members of this class agreed to sit down with a camera crew and share their memories of life at “State College.”

Bob Mattocks remembers the bands that played in Reynolds Coliseum, pranks involving shaving cream and his parking-patrol job. He graduated in forestry management and is chairman of Jankins Gas & Oil Co. in Pollocksville. He serves on the NC State Board of Trustees.
