Online Services
What is NC State Online?
NC State Online lets alumni network electronically. The highest level of access is available to Alumni Association members, who can look for jobs through the Online Career Center or connect with classmates through the Online Directory. Nonmember alumni are eligible for e-mail forwarding and limited access to the Online Directory.
Register for the NC State Online community at www.ncstateonline.com and take advantage of these features:
Online Directory
Now available—a complete, searchable database for alumni records. Alumni can get in touch with lost classmates and take advantage of networking features such as “My Contacts.” By keeping information up-to-date through the directory, alumni are better able to stay in touch with their alma mater.
Anyone can update his or her directory listing and search for other NC State alumni. It’s also possible for an alumnus to selectively conceal any field of information in his or her profile.
Member Benefit Alumni Association members can access complete contact information of classmates and keep track of friends with their own list of “My Contacts.”
Note: Tiered access to the Online Directory was implemented on Feb. 1, 2003. This does not affect alumni e-mail forwarding addresses, which are available to all NC State alumni.
E-Mail Forwarding
All alumni are eligible for a free personalized and permanent e-mail address. E-mail forwarding lets NC State graduates forward electronic mail to their current address, allowing them to keep the same e-mail no matter how often they change providers. It also promotes a lifelong identification with NC State.
Register for e-mail forwarding with your_name or nickname@alumni.ncsu.edu.
The Red Pages
The Red Pages allow NC State alumni to promote their businesses, products or services within the NC State community. Alumni can search alumni business listings or post their own. Users also will have the option of making their listing viewable to more than 200 other alumni communities. This service is free to all NC State alumni.
Users must register for the online community before creating a listing. Then, click on “The Red Pages” link and follow the instructions.

Member Benefit Alumni Career Center
The Alumni Career Center is a valuable networking resource for Alumni Association members. It allows them to post jobs or search for openings offered by alumni of NC State and other institutions as well as outside recruiters and corporations.
Members also can post or search resumés online. The Alumni Career Center is a forum for members to share career advice and search career-related Web sites.
