About the Building
The Dorothy and Roy Park Alumni Center is among the finest alumni centers in the country. It’s a point of pride for us all and a place to celebrate happy NC State occasions for decades to come. It’s a home for alumni, built by alumni.
The ground floor is available for wedding receptions and other private parties. With two-story windows opening onto the lake, the grand reception area will create generations of happy memories for NC State’s alumni family for years to come. The State Club, a membership dining facility, and meeting rooms also are located on the ground floor.
A grand staircase takes visitors to the second level of the Park Alumni Center. There, the chancellor and other administrators host meetings and dinners for special occasions: entertaining potential donors, interviewing faculty applicants or conducting meetings of the Board of Trustees. The boardroom serves the Alumni Association Board of Directors, the NC State Board of Trustees and other executive groups.
The third floor houses the Alumni Association staff with room to grow. As a visitor, you can check in with the offices of the Caldwell Fellows Program or Alumni Career Services, or you can search your NC State family roots in a library equipped with Internet access, yearbooks dating to 1900 and alumni magazines nearly a century old.
