Welcome to Camp Low 'n' Slow
NC State's BBQ Camp is a blend of science, hands-on preparation and cultural history--along with more meat than you can imagine. Campers learn to ID cuts of meat, make a great rub, and smoke a brisket before they chow down on the fruits of their labors. Are you a grill-loving meat-eater? We're giving away a slot in next summer's camp. Enter the giveaway »
A Matter of Balance
Janet Leet '89 was an All-American runner at NC State. Today she leads a running camp for girls, but she draws not on her victories but her struggles, helping them learn to deal with the pressures of competitive coaches and eating disorders. And they get a special message from Coach Jim Valvano.
