Dr. Randy Woodson, the 14th chancellor of NC State, arrived at the university in 2010 from Purdue University, where he served as executive vice president for academic affairs and provost. 

During his tenure at NC State, Woodson has overseen the largest private gift in university history, led the development and implementation of the university’s strategic plan to create greater efficiency and effectiveness, and worked to engage alumni in North Carolina, across the country and internationally.

Through receptions hosted by the Alumni Association, the chancellor talks one-on-one with alumni and gives updates on university news.
