The Neuse River Bridge Run is held in historic downtown New Bern, offering views of the Neuse and Trent Rivers. Participants can choose between a half-marathon, 10K or a 5K course. Walkers may choose between the 10K and 5K routes. All courses are pending USATF certified and runners are timed.

The half-marathon starts at 7 a.m.; the 10K race, at 7:15 a.m.; and the 5K race, at 8:05 a.m. Arrive at Union Point Park no later than 7:45 a.m. if you are running the 5K. Race day registration and preregistration packet pickup will close at 6:30 a.m. Don't forget to allow time for parking!
Entry fees are nonrefundable and include a race T-shirt, runner’s swag, pre-race pasta dinner, entry into the “Be Active, Be Healthy” Expo and the runner’s celebration activities. Registration prior to or on Oct. 1, 2012, is $35 (for the 10K and 5K) and $50 for the half-marathon. You are guaranteed a T-shirt in your size. After Oct.1, the registration fee increases $10 for each race and T-shirt size cannot be guaranteed.
Alumni Association members get a $5 discount on registration fees. To receive your discount code, send an email to Randy Ham at jrham@ncsu.edu. The code will be emailed to you.
Use the code to register online. The discount price is reflected when the participant registers on step 4 (where there is a entry space for the coupon code). When the code is entered, click REDEEM and the new price will reflect the discount accordingly.
