NC State Libraries’ Amazing Alumni: Hopscotch Co-Director Grayson Currin
 The Flaming Lips, The Roots, Yo La Tengo, Public Enemy . . . all these bands and many more have graced the Triangle thanks to the efforts of Grayson Currin ‘05. Currin is music editor of The Independent Weekly and co-director of the Hopscotch Music Festival, which began in 2010 in downtown Raleigh.
Currin will discuss Hopscotch’s development and give a preview of the 2012 festival offerings during this installment of NC State Libraries’ Amazing Alumni series.
The program is free, open to the public and presented in collaboration with 88.1 WKNC.
It will be held at D.H. Hill Library (assembly room, second floor, east wing). |
