Welcome New Ambassadors!

New Ambassadors
L-R: Vansana Nolintha, Allison Goff, Harmony Fayomi, Joseph Barton, Nick Schultz, Brittney Eaves, Adam Compton, Mike Gilligan, Sara Beth Collier, Leslie Resnick

The Alumni Association Student Ambassador Program (AASAP) promotes leadership among its student members and interaction with alumni, campus administrators and the student body. Chosen annually by AASAP leaders, the ambassadors host Alumni Association-sponsored functions and strengthen the ties between alumni and their alma mater.

The role of the ambassadors has evolved since the program was chartered in fall 2001 to address the growing needs of the Alumni Association and university. They’ve expanded with initiatives to revive traditions such as Homecoming and Founders’ Day and to create programming such as STAT (Students Today Alumni Tomorrow) that enhances students’ college experience. In doing so, the ambassadors aim to create a campus culture that embraces students and makes them want to stay connected to NC State after they graduate.
