Discover Costa Ricas staggering natural wealth as you travel from cloud forest to rain forest, and Central Valley to Pacific Coast. Your journey begins in cosmopolitan San Jose. Embark on an excursion through the Central Valley to Irazu Volcano. Continue on to the archaeological site of Guayabo in a protected rainforest. Learn about Costa Ricas most important export at the Espiritu Santo Coffee Plantation. After visiting a local marketplace in Cuidad Quesada, enjoy magnificent vistas of Arenal Volcano from our lodge. Visit with children at a local elementary school, then enjoy an excursion to the Luna Nueva private rain forest reserve. Take guided walks through Monteverde’s biological reserve to learn about the bio-diversity in this relatively small area, and skim the treetops at the Hanging Bridges Sky Walk. Float along the Tempisque River to view abundant birds and wildlife. End your tropical journey at a secluded Pacific beach resort. An optional post-tour extension to Tortuguero National Park offers additional options for bio-diversity exploration.
