Cross into Spain and see the ancient, ruin-filled city of Merida, the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Cordoba, and Seville with its marvelous Moorish architecture. Spend an afternoon in Granada exploring the citadel of Alhambra and the Granadian-style Generalife, the palaces acclaimed gardens. A tour highlight is Toledo, Spains medieval capital and home of 16th-century artist El Greco. Conclude with sightseeing in the dynamic capital Madrid including the majestic Palacio Royal, the Plaza Mayor and the world-famous Prado.
